Dr Satheesh earned a medical degree from the prestigious Madras Medical College.
Later, he spent 9 years in the UK and obtained the membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). He then obtained the fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and certificate of specialist training (CCST). He was also a visiting fellow in Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, London, gaining experience in Paediatric interventions.
Dr Satheesh worked as a Consultant interventional radiologist in Singapore General Hospital for three years before moving back to his native Chennai in 2014. He joined Apollo hospitals, a quaternary care hospital with a busy Interventional radiology department.
He has a special interest in hepatobiliary, oncological and paediatric interventions.
I have been blessed with a SECOND LIFE. My all time BIG thanks to the Integrated Liver Care, Chennai. Now I am medically fit, leading a normal and active Aviation professional career.
Liver Transplantation was a life changing experience for me. It completely changed my philosophy about life. The greatest achievement of life is probably to be alive happily. I consider it as rebirth
